More than 100 full color photos show the Newton County, Missouri of today and includes photos of numerous sites including historical buildings, churches, cemeteries, scenic views, and includes photos from the Neosho, Camp Crowder, Newtonia, Stark City, Shannon Springs, Jolly Mill (Jollification), Wanda, Diamond, Racine, Spring City, and Reding's Mill areas. All of these photos were taken in 2002 and 2003.

More than 40 postcards show vintage scenes of Newton County, Missouri from the early 1900's to the 1980's. Greatest emphasis is on the Neosho, Missouri area and of the Camp Crowder ( Fort Crowder ) military base. Several rarely seen Newton County, Missouri cards are included.
