The C & A (Chicago & Alton) Railroad Depot, Higginsville, Missouri This postcard view pictures the Chicago & Alton Railroad Depot located at the south end of the business district of Main Street. The railroad depot is still standing (2008) and has been beautifully restored. The building no longer functions as a railroad depot but is now the home of the historical society with many impressive displays of local history. The building in the background behind the depot is the old Arcade Hotel. Trains still pass the depot daily. Published by Althoff & Koppenbrink. Printed in Germany. This postcard was postmarked in 1910.
