Peacock Family Cemetery near Higginsville, Missouri in Lafayette County, MO The Peacock Family Cemetery (also known as Peacock Cemetery) is located a short distance northeast of Higginsville, Missouri in central Lafayette County, MO. This is a rather small cemetery at the edge of a farm field. In 2007, only two tombstones (both with the Peacock surname) could be seen due to tall grass.From Business Highway 13 in Higginsville, go to Highway AA. Go east on Highway AA to Salem Cemetery Road. Turn left (north) on Salem Cemetery Road (Salem Cemetery is at this intersection) and continue north until the road intersects with Peacock Road. The cemetery is directly ahead (north) across from this intersection. Several large cedar trees mark the location of the cemetery.
