This rare and valuable directory features the name, occupation, and post office address for 6522 St. Louis County, Missouri taxpayers in 1893.  Also included are the names of all business firms doing business in St. Louis County plus a lengthy list of all post offices in St. Louis County.  This directory provides valuable information that can help fill in the gaps for the missing Census of 1890.   In addition to the 1893 Directory of Tax Payers, a selection of 19 St. Louis County maps are also included from 1851, 1862, 1876, 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1899 (2), 1901, 1902, 1904, 1905, 1907, 1911, 1913, 1922, 1920's, 1929. These maps show the location of 219 different St. Louis County settlements.
